Dean started working on construction crews over summer vacation while in high school. He began working in the construction field full-time in 1965. His latest experiences were as an on-site job supervisor for David A. Williams Construction for about 12 years and on-site supervision, sales, and design for Williams Development, Inc. for the past 4 years.
